GOOD has supported the City of Tshwane’s debt relief plan for residents in debt, including indigent and child-headed households, as well as customers with property values of less than R250,000. The City of Tshwane’s new multi-party administration inherited debtors' book of more than R30 billion from the previous DA administration.

HAMMANSKRAAL WATER: GOOD WELCOMES SCIENTIFIC TESTING RESULTS CONFIRMING NEW PROJECT WATER REMAINS SAFE TO DRINK

GOOD has noted the increased politicisation around the supply of safe water to the residents of Hammanskraal. The new project, run by Magalies Water at Klipdrift Water works, came online in January 2025 and supplies safe drinking water to several areas of Hammanskraal. It is the first of several phases to be rolled out to expand the network of safe water to Hammanskraal.
