TSHWANE 100 DAYS: GOOD WELCOMES IMPROVED FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE, HIGHER TARGET ATTAINMENT

Today the City of Tshwane’s multi-party Mayoral Committee, led by Executive Mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya, provided feedback to the City of Tshwane’s residents on their achievements during the first 100 days in office. These achievements follow last week’s presentation to the Tshwane Council on the mid-year budget assessment of the City of Tshwane as well as a report on the achievements of the City’s mid-year performance targets. GOOD is proud to be a part of the multi-party leadership team behind these key improvements and we congratulate the City at large for the improvements and achievements.

CITY OF TSHWANE’S MID-YEAR REPORTS SHOW IMPROVED FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND IMPROVED PERFORMANCE SINCE LAST YEAR

During a Special Council meeting, a report on the mid-year budget assessment of the City of Tshwane as well as a report on the achievements of the City’s mid-year performance targets were presented to Council. As GOOD we would like to congratulate the City at large for the improvements we are seeing in the financial status of the city.

TSHWANE LEAKED QUALIFIED AUDIT: FINDINGS HIGHLIGHT BRINK’S ADMINISTRATION FAILURES

The GOOD Party has noted Moneyweb’s publication of the alleged 2023/24 Auditor General (AG) report for the City of Tshwane for the 2023/24 financial year (https://www.moneyweb.co.za/news/south-africa/another-qualified-audit-opinion-for-city-of-tshwane/). We welcome the probe into the leak of the report. The final AG report is only due to serve before the Tshwane Council on the 30th of January 2025.
