The GOOD Party is pleased to announce Mr Ashwill October as our new councillor in the Garden Route District Municipality.
Ashwill has been instrumental in building the party in the region. At the age of 28, he spearheaded the launch of GOOD in Dysseldorp in 2018 which also sparked the growth of the party in the broader district. Since then he has continued to be a key player in the party’s growing success, playing an active role in GOOD’s local and national election teams.
Oktober comes in not only as a dedicated GOOD member, but with a range of experience both at municipal and provincial level. He is passionate about community development and representing the needs of his people to ensure their interests are put first. Over the years, the community has come to know him as a dedicated activist who always stands ready to step up in where help is needed.
GOOD is blessed with many suitable and qualified members who are ready to serve as public representatives. In order to elect the best candidates, the party follows an open application process to fill its pubic representative vacancies, followed by a rigorous selection process.
Oktober will now doubt be a great asset to our GOOD team on the ground in the Garden Route working towards a fairer and more just South Africa.
