Mid Term Budget: It is time for government to start implementing all its plans

30 October 2019

National debt is growing and must be reduced.

This debt has been  caused by a high salary bill and servicing the debt of the money we have borrowed.

GOOD welcomes the freezing of Executive, Ministers and MEC salaries including all other fringe benefits. Leaders must lead by example.

GOOD accepts that the real budget will come in 2020 and this mid term budget only sets the direction.

GOOD calls on government to remove all policy uncertainty that does not give South Africa the confidence needed for the economy to grow.

The time for talk is over and for government to start implementing all its plans.
